Jan. 4, 2022 Update
If it is determined that it will not be safe to hold an in-person event in Abingdon, VA this upcoming September, and that Monroe Mandolin Camp has to cancel our in-person gathering due to VA State, Local, and Host Venue COVID-19 mandates, participants will be refunded their registration (minus the non-refundable deposit), meal plans and housing reserved.
If the in-person camp IS cancelled for above reasons, the Monroe Mandolin Camp will do it’s best to convert to a VIRTUAL ON-LINE Camp (as in 2020). And for those that registered, the Non-Refundable Deposit will be applied towards the cost of on-line course.
Jan. 1, 2022 Update
We are committed to holding a safe and healthy in-person camp in the fall. As we cannot predict the future, at the time of camp, MMC will follow CDC and VA State and Local policies and recommended best practice guidelines regarding COVID-19 and it’s variants.
By unanimous vote, our Board of Directors and Advisory Committee has voted that ALL attendees (whether instructors, staff, volunteers, sponsors, special presenters, guest artists, and participants) must be fully vaccinated and prepared to offer proof of vaccination. Proof of full vaccination may be uploaded during the on-line registration process, or emailed/snail mailed in to us. We MUST receive a copy of your vaccination card PRIOR to camp.
By registering for camp, either on-line or through a mail in registration form, registrant acknowledge that Covid-19 and its variants is a virus that is present throughout the community. Monroe Mandolin Camp makes no representation that it can protect participants from accidental exposure. Registrant agrees that by participating in the camp that they agree to indemnify, waive and hold Monroe Mandolin Camp harmless from any and all potential claims as it relates to Covid-19 in the event that they contract COVID-19 or any illness at the event.
Dec. 2021 Update
Monroe Mandolin Camp continues to review CDC recommended best practices and guidelines regarding COVID-19. Updates for camp policies and procedures will be made here accordingly.
